Expertise
The members of PALOC are solicited in their field of competence, and in particular to support the safeguarding, conservation, and management of heritage.
They participate in different types of expertise:
- Archaeological Expertise (preventive archeology), in particular application of the International Convention for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage.
- Qualification of heritages, mainly for the benefit of local populations, objects, sites and heritage resources.
- Museum expertise, consulting various museums.
- Various institutional expertise: objects, sites, local products ...
PALOC researchers are also members of several scientific committees and bodies of scientific expertise at international or national level.
Valorisation
The valorisation of certain research projects gives a visibility and a durability to the actions of the UMR on its grounds. It takes different forms, museums or not: various exhibitions of objects, texts and photos, houses of local products, museums or permanent exhibition rooms, films and various didactic productions.
